Remote AI Engineer (Full-Time)

We are seeking an AI engineer to develop intelligent data systems using current AI frameworks for our Series A funded California software development client. This is a remote full-time position that will provide you with the opportunity to design production ready AI solutions for real-world business data.

We are interested in candidates that have proven experience with Python, AI agent frameworks, and modern data infrastructure. The primary focus of this position is to build Natural Language Query (NLQ) systems, agentic workflows, and analytical insight pipelines that convert raw data into meaningful reports and dashboards.

You will collaborate closely with the backend and product teams to design AI workflows that retrieve, process, and analyze business data from MongoDB as well as KPI data from SQL databases. A background in developing AI agents in a production environment is essential to be successful in this role since it will provide you with significant opportunities to work on advanced AI systems that are deployed on AWS infrastructure.

Important Job Information

• Position: AI Engineer
• Experience Needed: Minimum of 4 - 8 years total
• AI Systems Experience: At least 2 - 4 years experience with agentic AI systems.
• Salary: ₹25,000,000 - ₹50,000,000/year (based on experience)
• Location: Work From Anywhere
• Job Type: Regular Full-time Employee
• Notice Period: 7 Days
• Shift Schedule: IST (The main shift is from 11 PM - 4 AM IST and there are additional hours available)

Core Responsibilities

•  Create Natural Language Query (NLQ) systems that enable users to query MongoDB and SQL based KPI data through the use of plain language.
•  Create agentic AI workflows to retrieve, process and create analytical insight for data.
• Create systems that provide structured data outputs used for dashboards or business reports.
•  Deploy and manage AI Pipelines on AWS infrastructure with appropriate uptime and monitoring.
•  Integrate data from many sources including MongoDB and SQL datasets.
•  Collaborate with backend engineers, product teams to translate business requirements into AI workflow logic.
•  Optimize AI Systems for performance, scalability and reliability in a production setting.

Required Skills

 Candidates will have extensive experience in the following technologies or concepts:

•  Agentic AI Frameworks: LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, ADK+.
•  Programming: Strong experience with Python or Node.js for developing AI pipelines.
•  Databases: MongoDB and SQL based database systems.
•  AI Retrieval Systems: Embeddings, vector stores and retrieval pipelines.
•  Cloud Infrastructure: AWS deployment, monitoring and reliability.
•  Analytical Capability: Understanding KPI datasets, as well as a general knowledge of structured analytical output.
•  Data Modeling Experience: Have experience building BI style data models.

Nice-to-Have Skills 

The experience listed below will improve your profile further:

• Familiarity with Snowflake or SQL based data warehouse products.
• Experience with dashboarding tools and/or analytics platforms.
• Previous experience creating natural language query (NLQ) user interfaces or semantic search engines.
