Position Summary
Daice Labs is looking for a Junior AI/ML Scientist to join the company's remote team. The ideal candidate will be an early-career professional with an interest in applied machine learning and has experience building explainable artificial intelligence (AI) systems through research and development.
In this role you will partner with researchers, engineers, and product teams producing machine-learning model designs to implement and enhance adaptive AI solutions. You will be involved in both research-focused project development as well as systems used in the production environment. You will have an opportunity to experience developing solutions to real-world AI challenges.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct research on machine learning, pattern recognition and data-driven modeling.
- Develop designs for machine-learning (ML) models. Implement and optimize the ML model for use in real-world scenarios.
- Evaluate structured and unstructured data to derive actionable insights.
- Develop and improve adaptive and explainable AI systems.
- Evaluate passage models with appropriate metrics and validation methods.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams in a virtual, distributed environment.
- Use research-based methods to convert to scalable, real-world solutions.
- Provide input for long-term strategies for improvement of AI systems.
