AI Chatbot Tester (work from home)

Pay Rate: $40 - $120 per hour (contract)

Position Overview

Alignerr is currently hiring AI Chatbot Testers to assess and improve cutting-edge artificial intelligence (AI) conversation systems. As a tester, you'll engage directly with AI chatbots, examine how they respond, and submit organized feedback regarding how to optimize those systems to provide improved accuracy, safety, and usability.

This position would best suit people who like to evaluate written materials, think critically, as well as play with creative ideas. No prior AI experience and/or technical background are necessary; however, you must have the ability to evaluate response quality objectively and articulate your findings clearly.

Activities to be Performed

Every day, as an AI Chatbot Tester, you will perform the following activities:

Engage with different types of AI chatbots by having conversations about anything.
Test many different types of conversational prompts (both simple and complex) to help determine how AI chatbots respond.

Evaluate the chatbot's responses according to four criteria:

How helpful they are to you.
Are they factually accurate or factual?
Are they clear and have good tone?
Are the responses safe, appropriate, etc.?

Look for any issues related to the following:

Inaccurate or misleading.
How awkward, unnatural, and/or unclear it is to read the chatbot's responses.
Are there any biases, inconsistencies, or lack of completeness in the chatbot responses?

Are there any imaginative and challenging prompts you can use to help determine where the chatbot system has its limits?
Fill out evaluation forms with structured responses based on the procedures you were given after filling out your evaluation form.
