About the Role

A Full Stack AI Developer will be responsible for working on actual, production-quality AI systems. These systems will not be proof of concepts or proof-of-concepts running in Jupyter or agency type client work.

This position is geared towards engineers who wish to work at the bleeding edge of applied AI such as autonomous agents, Retrival-Augumented Generation (RAGs), scalable inference pipelines as well as building contemporary full stack products. You will be working on systems that are utilized by users on a day-to-day basis not research that is purely theoretical or some internal tool that never gets shipped.

What You’ll Be Building

As a Full Stack AI Developer you will be working on the entire system that includes the architecture of AI but also includes the back end, the front end, the products you are developing as well as the infrastructures you need to operate them. Your responsibilities will include:

AI Architecture / Back End Development

Architecting and developing scalable frameworks for AI Agents
Developing RAG Pipelines and their logic through the use of vectors, embeddings, etc.
Fine-tuning and testing LLMs to deliver optimal performance when using it in real world scenarios
Developing real time inference pipelines and maintaining GPU workloads in the cloud
Creating robust API's and Microservices based on Node.js and Python

Front End/Product Development

Creating clean, modern, user interfaces in Next.js, React, TypeScript
Developing Dashboards/Workflow Interfaces/Chat Interfaces/Internal Admin Tools
Translating complex AI Behavior into simple and intuitive user experiences.
Working closely with the product / engineering organization to deliver features in a timely manner.

Systems, Infrastructure, & DevOps

Owning deployments via AWS, GCP and Vercel
Implementing observability, logging monitoring and performance metrics.
Creating CI/CD Pipelines and conducting automated testing.
Ensuring reliability, scalability, and maintainability of all production systems.

Key Criteria

This position requires mindset, ownership and high-quality execution; you should possess the following qualifications:

Proficiency and hands-on application of Next.js, React, TypeScript
Advanced expertise across backend technologies (Node.js, Python, API calls, Microservices)
Demonstrable practical experience working with LLMs, embeddings, RAG, agents and tools like LangChain, LlamaIndex, etc.
The ability to design and develop UI that meets design specifications without having to take a lot of time to be pixel perfect
Ability to execute well in an efficient way that doesn’t compromise your engineering skills, e.g. posting code that is robust and designed at high-quality standards
A desire to solve difficult problems by designing and implementing systems that work seamlessly together
A desire to work in an environment that allows you to take ownership of your work while giving you appropriate levels of autonomy.
